HERO is a Student Management System. It is a tool that we will be rolling out over this year in stages.
At Te Matauru Primary we will be using HERO to:
share learning and success with whānau
to send emails and notices out
to monitor attendance and notify whānau of unexplained absences
share goal expectations and report on progress and levels
Signing into your Hero Account for the first time:
Download the Hero by LINC-ED app from the app store
Note: use the keywords Hero LINC-ED when searching for the app
Alternatively, open your browser and enter app.linc-ed.com
Click NEW USER
Enter the email address you have provided the school and click REQUEST PASSWORD LINK. If your email address is not accepted, please contact your school.
You will receive a message confirming a password email has been sent
Open your email inbox and click on the Hero Password Reset email
If you do not receive a Hero Password Reset email, check your spam folder.
Open the email and click RESET MY PASSWORD
Enter a secure password (8 or more characters), verify this password then click SET PASSWORD
You will receive a confirmation message. Click SIGN IN
Once we have our parent community all linked in to HERO we will be able to start sharing real time learning with our student’s whānau.
